Our Team

Maria joined Dr. Maravilla's practice in 2008 with a wealth of optical knowledge.  She has been in the field for 11 years and is well versed in all aspects of the optical field.  Whether you have questions about insurance coverage, eyeglass prescriptions, technical lens designs or expert advice in frame selection, Maria will exceed your expectations.  She applies her skills and experience with fashion eyewear in dispensing and does expert frame adjustments.  You may also find Maria pre-testing as well as instructing patients on the use and care of contact lenses.  She enjoys pleasing patients in their eyewear and contact lens needs.  You will always find Maria with a smile and positive attitude.  She resides in Lake Elsinore with her 3 dogs.  Some of her favorite actvities are walking her dogs, reading and hiking. 

Irene recently joined our team to help keep the office running smoothly by handling incoming phone calls, mail, scheduling/confirming appointments and other patient related duties.  She values the personal interaction with patients and strives to build ongoing relationships with them.

Irene assists in the Geology department at Santiago Canyon Community College.  She also provided outdoor training for Girl Scout leaders as a volunteer. 

Irene is originally from Chicago, where she studied Accounting at Northeastern Illinois University and earned her CPA.  During her free time, Irene enjoys spending time with her family.  She also enjoys outdoor activities, including camping and road trips.

I retired from my position as Administrative Manager with the County of Orange, after 36 years of employment.  I was excited about the opportunity to work at Dr. Maravilla's office because I enjoy working with people.  It is very rewarding to work in a friendly environment where patient satisfaction is valued so highly.

When I'm not working, I like to spend time with my family and friends.  I also enjoy hiking, running, and going to the movies.
